Displaying youtube videos in wordpress posts in easy way
Sometimes it becomes a headache when you are displaying video content to your wordpress blog. Because it is not easy to write video or embedded code by using wordpress’s default editor. But now it can be done very quickly with just one line of code by using Smart youtube plugin for wordpress.

Smartyoutube will fetch youtube videos from a single line url you’ll write in your posts. And it will display the embedded code and player automatically. All you have to do is to copy the original URL of youtube video and past it in editor. Simply replace http with httpv and you are done.
- Download Smart-Youtube Plugin
- Upload it to your wp-content/plugins directory
- Activate the plugin by logging into your wordpress as an admin
- Write a new post and write the youtube video url in following example’s format.
httpv:// www.youtube.com/watch?v=DR6zXQwdZO8
As you can see I have replace http:// to httpv:// .. Now plugin will handle this itself and convert it into embedded youtube video.
